We've spent a lot of time with our family this week. It has been precious time. We've done a lot of sitting, talking, eating.....here are some other things we did.

We vaccinated the babies, tagged them and castrated the ones that needed it. Josh and Dad did all the work. I kept the shots ready, got the ear tags and bands ready. We were a good team. In the above pic, Josh is giving his first shot. He did real good. He had a good teacher.
Mom and I got a lot of the garden out. So far we've planted okra, broccoli, cauliflower, 3 types of cabbage, tomatoes, tomatillos, banana peppers, green peppers, squash, zucchini and cucumbers. We have lots more to plant but that'll be another day. Love dirty garden feet.

Here is our lovely garden scarecrow.

We're looking forward to putting out the rest of the garden. We're planning on carrots, onions, radishes, watermelon, blueberry bush and more. It'll be great.
