Mini trip!

Had a training for work that took me to Mt. Olivet, KY. To a lovely state park (Blue Licks Battlefield State Resort Park)....that was already booked for rooms. So we got online and booked a hotel in nearby Maysville, KY. OMG. the hotel was awful. Won't even go there. The training was actually pretty good and we had a good time. We went to downtown Maysville which is currently being restored. Down by the river was a very cool tunnel that had handprints all through it. Super neat. The roads were brick, which I think is just about the coolest thing ever. Rosemary Clooney's face was everywhere. We had an awesome dinner at a cute place called Chandlers. We ordered onion petals and shared almond crusted Tilapia with rice and sweet potato fries. Delish. So glad my lovey was able to come on the trip with me. Besides, if he hadn't of been, once I got to the hotel, I probably would have turned around and come right on home. :)



On our way home, we stopped at Renfro Valley for our favorite ice cream!
