Somernites Cruise is HUGE in our town. (FYI- this posting is mainly for our out of town friends/family). You should seriously check it out sometime. Tons of people from all over bring their oldies for people to look at and drive up/down the strip. It's the most traffic you'll ever see in town....but still not quite as horrible as Louisville traffic. :) Anyway, Mayberry. Saturday night we hit the town with mom and dad to go to the cruise and experience Mayberry! Yes, the Darlin's were there to provide the music. Two of the original Darlin siblings (I think!). They were great. And...what is Mayberry without Barney??
He was AWESOME! (ignore me sticking my butt out!) People line up all down Hwy 27 (the road in town) to see all the cars.
We had a great time. I ran into a couple of wonderful friends and loved chatting with them! We went to Crackerbarrel for dinner, stopped at Dairy Queen for blizzards (where the drive thru line was clear out in 27) and then stopped at the cemetery.

Dad is selling kettle corn somewhere down town at the SNC now. I'm hoping to make it down for one soon!
