Ya ever feel like there's a storm brewin'????

We love quoting this line! It's from the original Parent Trap....which Mitch is talking to Hecky. Anyway. :) What a storm we had yesterday!!! Talk about some crazy wind and lightning! We lost power early evening and it came back on around 1 am think. We had a "Little House on the Prairie" night. Found our flashlights, lit some candles (which we need more of....we only had 2). So we sat around with the flickering flame and Josh played guitar. Oh and I took pictures of myself with the flashlight under my chin. They were funny. and creepy. I'll have to remember to put it on here. :) Then we went to bed early. It was weird not having our sleep machines on....it's a mix of wind, ocean, rain, etc. Instead all we could hear was the wind chimes and the real wind and rain. Slept soooo good! We had some minor damage...like a piece of the gutter on the barn came off, we lost some shingles, the star that was on the garage was across the road, some smaller limbs down, stuff like that. We're thankful nothing serious. And then today....another amazing beautiful day. :)
