Happy birthday to my Lovey!!! We got up early and went to Big South Fork Scenic Railway in Stearns, KY. We got there early to look in the museum and listen to the bluegrass gospel music played by these talented men.
The train takes you on a 16 mile ride down to Blue Heron, an old mining camp. The track takes you real close to the rocks, through a tunnel and around some scenic river views. Lots of fun, even though it was cool. A beautiful day! This is looking down from the bridge. Eeeek!
This was in the gift shop. We cracked up -too funny!
A fella also proposed to a gal on our ride. It was sweet. We ended the day returning to renfro valley for some more of that ice cream. Had a bday dinner with mom and dad and will be watching the game tonight. It has been such fun celebrating and the weekend ain't over yet! :)
