1st Annual WCC Easter Egg Hunt!

What a day! What a week! We've really worked hard on this. We had lots of people helping, volunteering to run things, stuff eggs, etc. For our first Easter event and hosting over 150 kids.....inside.....while it was cold and sprinkling.....I think it went pretty well. We started the day by telling the true meaning of Easter through puppets, skits and interpretive song (thanks to the WBC youth and Janie!)

We had a cupcake hop, the photo board, coloring contest and cake raffle...... The kids seemed to have a good time hunting for the 3,000 eggs and of course, seeing the Bunny! This is Becky's sweet girl Addisyn.
A huge thanks to everyone who made the day a success....the Nearby Neighbors Homemakers Group, the board of WCC, WBC, and a host of other volunteers. A great day for our kiddos and community!
