update on little Ebert

The day after we took him to Penney and Tim's, Tim brought him by work. Another reason I'm so glad they took him in. I know we'll be able to keep up with him and hear how he is. They have just fallen in love with him! He had a trip to the Vet. He weighed 4 lbs. He had 3 different worms/parasites which made us SAD. but the Vet told them in just a little time and with some meds, he would be good to go. After they described to him the state he was in Friday, the Vet told them that he likely would not have lived much longer had we not found him. He could barely walk. He thinks his blood sugar had dropped severely and he obviously was dehydrated and neglected. I also cried a little when they told me that too. BUT!! the difference a couple days make!!! He is like a different pup. He has stopped taking the bottle and is now eating baby food. He is making so much progress. Tim brought him to work again Thursday and I just LOVE seeing the little guy. They haven't decided on a name yet but have a few in mind. He has grown so much and you can tell he is just SOOOO loved. He now weighs 4.85lbs in just a matter of a week. He is playing and running and acting like a pup (barking at Lilly- one of the other pups at P&T's). SO...here is the little guy now. Be prepared friends...this sweet little guy will always be special to us and you will be seeing him frequently! We are soooo grateful for Penney and Tim. This little guy has been a blessing to all of us!
