Weekend in Louisville!

We have really been looking forward to this weekend! My wonderful friend Amber has a little pirate that just turned 4! His party was this weekend so we took advantage of the trip to the ville and tried to see some other friends too! Thursday night we met up with Paula and Adam and went out to dinner at one of our fav places, El Nopal. We miss them so much. They didn't live far from us (and are both from Somerset!) and we've missed spending time with them. Then we traveled on to Heather and Franks. Heather has made it clear that when we are in the ville.... we stay with the Brooks! :) Heather and I had a pool day at the club. Then we went to the mall in our bathing suits, cover ups and smothered in sunscreen. It was very classy. I told her when we went in to Hollister that they would probably tell us not to touch anything. :)
It was very hot. We were very sweaty. :) We also stopped by Emily's work and saw her for just a few minutes. Yay! We spent the rest of the night chilling, being silly and hanging out.


Saturday, we went to the mall. Josh got a couple new Red Sox hats (that are super cool) and I got some new running gear. Woohoo! Then we went to Harrison's party! This little guy LOVES pirates. I mean, he loves Captain Jack! This is his 2nd pirate party! :) It was a great time. Amber of course did AWESOME on all the decor and little details. Harrison had a blast. And of course, the best part (for me!) was spending time with two of my very best friends. I love these girls so much and miss seeing them every day!
