Fun times!

Had to go up to Louisville this week for a training. Love visiting there but always hard to be away from the hubs and pups. Took the opportunity to spend time with some buddies. It was awesome. Hard to see everyone in such a short time but excited to be back there in September and catch up with them then. YAY! I love being at Heather and Frank's. My home away from home. Each night we just chilled and I loved on sweet lil Newman. More on that later! Jeannie and I met up for some hobby lobby fun, dinner and shopping. Always a good time. She got a little help in the make up dept at Sephora and we decided we must get makeovers next time. Love this girl!
I miss her all the time but it's amplified with fall and Christmas coming! I miss our ole Friday night dates when the boys were working and we would make fall dishes, do crafts and watch Christmas movies. Ahhhh. Got to run by the old office and visit with some people there. I miss them lots. Had a fun night with my girlfriends Amber and Gina. We are lucky enough that we all talk most every day but it was soooo good to see them in person and just chill out. We got our favorite food from our fav place, the Cafe.
and the infamous amazing cookie that regardless of the temperature, the chocolate is always gooey. the skills of the wonderful Mr. Sal. :)
We had good times!
Loved spending the day with Heather. We started out the morning with volunteering at the Human Society for a few hours. Initially that was really hard for me because I felt bad for the animals, being in their cages, wondered their stories, how they lived, how they ended up in the shelter, etc. UNTIL I learned that the week prior, there were 109 animals adopted, with only 7 of the big dogs left in the shelter. So other pups were imported from surrounding areas since Louisville has a high adoption rate. Plus, after seeing all the small pups and loving on them (and trying to help a girl pick a playmate for her pup- FUN!), we ventured over to the big dogs. Cause you know the puppies never have a lack of visitors. The big dogs were SOOO GREAT!! We took them out and played with them, giving them one on one. We played ball, loved on them and some had pool time! It was such a good time. Especially this lil girl, Laffy. She seriously made my day watching her in the pool. Praying all these animals find wonderful homes!! Look at her play!
Such a blessing to spend time there and love on those babies! Then we went to one our favs for lunch, Fuji. Got some sushi and crab salad. Yum. Got back to the house and had a pool day with sweet little Newman. Look how much he's grown! He's almost a whooping 3lbs now! He sure does love his Godmother Auntie Ang too! :) I had the best time loving on him. Such a sweetie pie!
Such a relaxing time!
Headed on down to Lex to celebrate Bobs 31st birthday with the family. It was good times! Love being able to spend time with his family- they are awesome. We had yummy food, played corn hole and just visited and celebrated. Good times!
Look how the great the Mama to be look with the....Mamaws? Grams? Grammy? hahah! We are all so excited! And look at how much little Baby Back has changed in one week!
How cute! This week starts 15 weeks!!! Once we got home we decided to go to the County Fair with the parents. Josh had never been to one. It was exciting! Tonight was the Tractor and Truck pulls and we all know how much we love those! Well, the tractors anyway. And mom was SUPER excited about the corndog and lemonade shake up. Her favs!
Had a great time watching the pulls! We rode the ferris wheel. That was about it. Good times! Today has been nice and relaxing. Church, lunch, laundry, bathing the pups, sitting outside and now blogging. :) The last few days have been such fun. So glad I'm back home with my family. Super excited for September!
