Snow Day

There is nothing like waking up in the wee hours just knowing that you're going to have a snow day. The excitement grows when you watch tv and all the closings. Even if your work isn't closed (like mine), you know there is no point in going in when the chances are high that you'll have a difficult time getting home, hours from now, when there is more snow and it's colder. So the excitement is building because now you know you get to sleep longer (yay!) and if it can get any more exciting then that, you decide' "Hey! Lets go to Cracker Barrel for breakfast!"

So that's how our fabulous snow day started! As soon as I woke up, after sleeping in, I told Josh, "get your clothes on! We're going to CB!" And off we went. Then lo and behold.....we're on the on ramp to the interstate where a tow truck is pulling out another car that has gone off the road. Well he motions us to stop. So we are slowing down and BAM! Dude from behind is following too close and smacks into the Camster. Of course it was a Jeep Wranger....so no damage for him. The Camster didn't fare as well. It hurts my heart a little to see her bruised up. She's a good car. Going to get an estimate tomorrow. Hopefully all will go well, it'll be super easy and she'll be back to her old self!

The biscuits and gravy from CB were fantastic but didn't quite feel as good as we thought it would. :) Ah well. We're thankful it wasn't worse. Also thankful that we weren't driving the 330. The damage would have been way worse with the size differences in the cars. So yeah, getting rear-ended kinda takes the fun out of a snow day. Hope everyone elses was fabulous!
