COSTUMES!!!!!!

First let me say....I absolutely LOVE dressing up. It really doesn't matter what the occasion. So I started planning WAY early for costumes to wear to Homemakers this year. I had the PERFECT costume! I really really REALLY wanted to be a cupcake and mom to be a baker. Well, we didn't do that. For some reason, being a baker wasn't neat enough for my sassy mom. Haha! No, really, who would want to be the baker instead of the cupcake?? Not me! We ended up picking this last minute costume which was fun. We were hostesses for this particular Homemakers meeting. Funny huh? We actually only had to purchase gloves. We had matching dresses and aprons!

On Halloween, mom and I set up a car to do trunk or treat at church. (Josh was sick and dad was working at home). Our original plan was to be pumpkins (scare free night!). But those cute little pumpkin yard bags that used to be everywhere? Couldn't find any!! So at last minute, we decided we could be cats. We even passed candy out to the trick or treaters from a litter box. Hehe!


Last costume of the season....we are SCARY and I look like a man! I'm not a fan of scary costumes myself....but we were dancing in the Thriller parade in the Lexington and needed to dress the part. We got our zombie on and danced in the streets. Will definitely be doing this again next year!!

So....I never did get to be a cupcake though. Maybe next year??? :)
