2011!!!

The end half of 2010 was full of stress and anticipation for us. We are so thankful that part is over. As much as we wanted to move to Woodstock and have land (and secretly wish for a small petting zoo) we had built a life in Louisville. That's all we knew as a couple. We both moved there straight out of college. Josh came to attend graduate school and I came for a change. We both ended up at Maryhurst, meeting for the first time at team building at the convent. I called my friend and told her I had met a real nice fella and he had such pretty eyes. :) It was pretty much history after that. We've had great experiences there and met amazing friends. We wouldn't be the people we are without that. So it is difficult leaving, especially when we are excited about our new life here. Truly bittersweet. So 2011 started with our 3rd night in our home, my first day at work tomorrow (eeek! kinda nervous) and well.....just being excited! We rang in the new year at a get together with my parents friends. We played games and had yummy food. Good times.
We've been to a get together at my cousins, already made a couple Lowe's trips, saw a movie and of course, trying to get the house in order. It's a work in progress but it already feels like home. The dogs are adjusting great. They are much more calm and are barking less. (hope i'm not jinxing us!) Anywho...we ate our New Years day meal....so all signs point to a prosperous year! :) It will be an exciting adventure, that's for sure!
