Girls Christmas!!

Girls Christmas has been happening since I moved to Louisville in 2004. Some of our group now lives in New York and Colorado but they are still with us each year in spirit! :) This year, the girls came down from the Ville to celebrate the weekend. We tried to incorporate as much Christmas in as we could. Like me, these girls absolutely LOVE Christmas too! When they arrived, we started off with a little Grinch party...having some Grinch punch and cookies (and other yummy apps!)

We got to catch up some while doing a fun craft that Em planned for us. Made these cute snowman ornaments!

We went to the Christmas Parade and the weather was awesome!
Enjoyed a little hot apple cider afterwards to warm up! Went to the Auction at WCC....Jeannie's first auction ever. She didn't buy anything but I got a heater for $9 and Em bought a little pig thingy.

We went home, got in our pj's, did our nails and started watching Elf...when we heard sleigh bells outside......looked out and who did we see??? A visit from SANTA!!!! What is a Christmas weekend without a little Santa???

This morning we went to church and had a little bit of time together before they had to get on the road. We always take silly pics together. Love these girls.

Super thankful for them and so glad they were willing to make the trip to spend Girls Christmas at the Holcombs. Also thankful for a fantastic hubs who thought we should have the house to ourselves and stayed at the parents. He's awesome. So is Santa.....when asked to come visit....she did not hesitate! I have awesome friends and family. :)
