Well I came to update and share some photos but our internet is super slow at the new place and my pics haven't updated to computer yet. if we had the noise, it could be like old school dial up. Anyway... if anyone is still reading this abandoned blog......here's what's up with the holbombs. we are getting ready to celebrate an 11 month old in just a few days. how in the world did that happen? this time next month i'm sure i'll be a ball of emotions. it is so exciting to see him learn and do new things (like start making the same noise I do when I blow my nose...thanks allergies!), or on the verge of crawling, drinking from a cup, trying new foods, things like that. but also like...how do we look at him every day and not physically see him grow and change? we were putting him to bed the other night and i told josh....remember when my hand took up his whole back??? sigh. he is such a wonderful blessing. my heart pretty much bursts with pride every time i see him. we are so thankful. so with that....we have also been planning 1st birthday festivities. we are both taking off work for the day to celebrate. we'll be having a small family party, a little theme, some special treats. we are so excited to celebrate our little guy. we are also struggling major with allergies. it really blows. ha. but it's been like over a month, 3 meds ago.....it's getting old. blah. oh well. we are working on house stuff. it's REALLY hard to decide on/create a house plan when you are not a visual person. We know all the rooms we want but trying to make that work without seeing it has proven a difficult task. We've met with the bank, some loggers and a builder. Basically we need to get our butt in gear and once we can figure out our plan get rolling. We are probably looking at next spring, who knows. We are really excited about the fall. We have a pumpkin patch date scheduled with Mayla, will get to meet baby Hanna for the first time at Thanksgiving, celebrate Grandads 90th birthday, etc. Big things up ahead. Well, babe is awake.
