Holcomb News

The last couple months have been pretty crazy. After an unexpected offer on the mini farm, we decided to sell. In the same week, we bought another property. We have spent the last couple months frantically seeking a place to rent, as close to home as possible that would accommodate us, the pups and the girls. We had two weeks left in the farmhouse when we finally found a place to live. Everyone knows moving sucks. It is especially hard when some stuff is going to storage and some to a new place. Throw in a Husband that works 6 days a week, a girl whose back started acting up and a sweet babe and you've got daily packing, running to storage unit or new place, etc. We felt so unsettled, busy and exhausted. It was much easier when you could just rent a Uhaul and have it done in one day. Oh well. The big move is over and we said Bye to the mini farm. It brought us so much joy and it's very bittersweet for us. We loved our view. Loved looking for the deer, seeing the geese, having a constant breeze, etc. It was a great place for us. But we decided to seize an opportunity. The land we purchased is 8 acres of beautiful woods. Now that we are getting somewhat settled in the new place, we'll shift our focus to building plans. We're excited for the future and super thankful for our time at the mini farm.
Our first dinner in the new place. Sparkling cider and amazing pizza from the store up the road.
The girls new house. They're gonna miss their luxury living.
Our first picture together in the woods. Somewhere back there will be our future home!!
