New to the World of Blogging

Well, the Holcombs have decided to blog. About what? We're not sure actually. We just decided it would be fun to share parts of our lives with our family and friends that they may not get to see/hear about often. So far, we plan on sharing cooking adventures, hobbies, energy updates, etc. It'll be something new for us and hopefully people will enjoy it.

WEEKEND EXCITEMENT
We are really anxious for spring...so to start welcoming it in....(early I know), we cleaned out the garage. We cleaned the cars, swept it out, organized the tools...it was pretty exciting. A very productive day. Josh made a delicious dinner....tequila lime tilapia and this new carrot salad recipe that was really good. For dessert, we took 2 graham crackers and put a spoonful of cool whip between them. A great treat! I ended the night by giving myself a facial and pedicure. We hoped for an even more productive day today and planned to hang drywall in the bonus room. I get home from the gym to find Josh standing in water that has flooded the hallway, bathroom and laundry room. Our washer decided to not stop filling up with water. Thankfully, all our clothes were clean (from our productive day!) except all the towels that it took to sop it all up. Oh well. We're grateful that we have a washer that can overflow! :) So we'll be working on that later today. While we've been busy and working, the dogs have been completely lazy and sleeping all day. They have a nice life! All in all, it's been a very relaxing weekend. Looking forward to next weekend....going home for Sisters 30th birthday! WOOHOO!
